Welcome to Naturopathy with Meredith, my clients prioritise themselves and seek a pathway forward.

When embarking on your health journey, there can be a lot of questions and directions to take which can be overwhelming at times. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

If you are looking for an empathic and intuitive practitioner who will consider your whole self; mind, body, and spirit, while offering holistic and integrative medicine backed by science, you’ve come to the right place.

I have recently become a Mum to a sweet boy and this career allows me to work at home and care for him.

Meet Meredith

I have a particular interest in women’s health, mental health and the connection and influence the brain has with the rest of the body, particularly the gut.

I am a Medical Herbalist, Nutritionist, and Naturopath. I have an Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences/AdvDipHSc (Naturopathy and Nutrition) and graduated from the Naturopathic College of New Zealand. The New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists awarded me Student Naturopath of the Year 2023.I hold a professional membership with Naturopaths & Medical Herbalists of NZ.

I use an intuitive consultation style and aim to meet clients where they are. My treatment plans are targeted, flexible, and focused on individual client needs and capabilities. I believe that clients know themselves and their bodies better than anyone else, and they have the answers within them.

I see the world through a spiritual lens and honour the rhythms of nature, welcoming anyone seeking the support of natural healing to make contact to start their journey today.

About Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathy is a health care system that practises holistic medicine - it considers all the systems of the body when looking for the underlying causes of disease. It also considers all aspects of a person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions - important in the quest for optimal health and wellness.

Naturopathic medicine is considered to be complementary, not alternative medicine, as naturopaths cohesively work alongside and in collaboration with other practitioners and specialists. Both streams of medicine have an important place in the health of an individual and it is important that clients have a supportive network of people guiding them on their health journey.

Naturopathic Treatment is unique to the individual client and typically includes:

  • Food/dietary changes

  • Exercise & Lifestyle recommendations

  • Supplements (powders or pills)

  • Liquid Herbal Formulations

The Principles of Naturopathic Medicine

  • The Healing Power of Nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae)

  • Identify and Treat the Causes (Tolle Causam)

  • First Do No Harm (Primum Non Nocere)

  • Doctor As Teacher (Docere)

  • Treat the Whole Person (Tolle Totum)

  • Prevention (Preventare)

How Does the Consultation Process Work?

Consultations with Meredith usually begin with a either complimentary 15-minute phone call or messaging back and forth via Instagram to determine if we are a good fit. Following this and once a confirmation of booking has been approved, you will be sent forms to fill in prior to the meeting. The typical format of how the consultation process will look is outlined below:

1.Initial Consultation (45-90 minutes)

The consultation dives into the underlying causes of your health concern. Meredith will ask you all about your health concern and will touch on signs and symptoms throughout the entire body and different body systems.

Following this, Meredith will research and create a unique wellness plan suitable for you.

2.Wellness Plan Delivery (30-45 minutes)

This discussion is about your wellness plan and how to implement the recommended changes (this will occur within 2-3 weeks after the first initial consultation). You will receive a digital copy of your plan with actionable guidance to support your healing journey. You may be prescribed deeper support through herbal and/or nutritional tonics and supplementation at an additional cost.

*Included in all consultation prices

3.Follow-up (30 minutes)

A check-in and reassessment of your progress and health goals. This may include a discussion of how the wellness plan implementation has been so far, a review and adjustment of any recommendations, or a discussion of treatment/test options.

  • Only included in the Integral package price. Must be booked and paid for separately.
