Chocolate Avocado Mousse

+ Raw, Vegan, & Gluten-free

Serves about 6 people

Prep time: 20 minutes + 2 hours to chill

Avocados

Avocados are a nutrient-dense fruit that contributes to a healthy diet. Avocados are packed with nutrients and are a good source of fibre and healthy monounsaturated fats. We love to eat our avocados in smoothies, as guacamole on top of Mexican-inspired meals, and of course, smashed avo on toast! 

 

Ingredients:

4 Avocado (soft/ripe)

4 Tbsp of Cacao Powder 

Pinch of Salt 

1/4 tsp of Cinnamon

250ml Maple Syrup 

To serve: 

Punnet of fresh berries or favourite fruits

or mint and seeds.

Directions: 

In a food processor add all the ingredients together and blend. It's that easy! 

Divide the mousse into serving dishes and place in the fridge overnight or for several hours to chill. Serve with fresh berries or your favourite summer fruits to balance out the fat of the avocado and the richness of the cocoa.
